Another bank holiday

Well, that's the last bank holiday for a while - good thing we managed to enjoy ourselves! The highlight was a trip to the Globe theatre to see Coriolanus - it really is like stepping back in time! We think this performance beats King Lear, which we saw last time we went.

As well as the theatre, we spent lots of time out and about with friends - we saw our old uni friends for the first time in over a year, needless to say Jude has grown a bit since they last saw him! Well, its half time in England v Hungary so I'd better get back to the match (although its not exactly riveting at the moment...)

Panini stickers!

I'm very excited - I've decided to collect stickers to complete the Panini World Cup 2006 sticker album; I don't think I've tried to complete a sticker album since the world cup '86!

A few friends at work are also collecting the set, so I should have a good supply of swapsies. Having said that, if you are collecting them too let me know!

Hi there just wanted to put a couple of new pics of Jude on the Blogg: Judes favourite time of day may well be bath time! He especially loves sucking the water out of his face cloth!

He also has a thing for putting our shoes on - even my Flip Flops which he gets very frustrated with since they dont stay on!

Congratulations Nicky and Dave!

Here's the biggest news of the year to date: Nicky and Dave are engaged!

For those who don't know I'll explain the links with links! - Dave is the brother of Ben and Nicky is my little sis!

Is Chuck Norris a modern day David?

Sparked by a random debate at homegroup last night let me pose this question to the world:
Is
Chuck Norris a modern day David? or, more importantly, will I ever be able to read about David again without picturing Chuck?

He also used the finished sign today with surprised me since I havent used it in the past few days!
I bought him summer sandals today which he had to wear out the shop! I remember doing that as a child!

Countdown to 01:02:03 04/05/06

Mum and Nan pointed this one out to us: On Thursday 4th May 2006, at two minutes and three seconds past one o'clock in the morning the time will read 01:02:03: 04/05/06. Excellent!

I've put a countdown to this once-in-a-millenium event at the top of the page!

Bank holiday...again!

I always feel like I only work part-time at this time of year - so many bank holidays, so many four day weeks - it's great. We spent most of the weekend with friends - football, church, lunch, drinks, DVD etc and were so tired that we decided to use today for a rest! We thought it was going to rain, but the weather cleared up so we ended up in Decathlon where we bought a bike seat and helmet for Jude:

We took a ride around Peckham, with Annie on her skates - Jude seemed to enjoy himself, we certainly did!

Jude is really getting the hang of sign language. We are using 'Sign with your baby' - it actually works! He now knows the signs for eat, drink, shoes, aeroplane, book, car, bath, ball, up and down - it makes life a lot easier for him and us!
